ATELIER BUNDEGAARD is the studio gallery of painter Christian Bundegaard and crochet designer Anita Bay Bundegaard. Christian’s paintings combine the poetic subtle with an expressionist complexity carried by a strong sense for colour. He is represented in numerous private, corporate and public collections a.o. the UN, the European Commission and the Danish Ministry for Digital Affairs. Anita designs and crafts crochet bags from a refined blend of silk mohair and alpaca wool, embodying soft, airy elegance. With a focus on simplicity and thoughtful details, she creates pieces that are both exquisite and made to be lived with. The couple divide their time between a studio gallery in Svaneke on Anita’s native island of Bornholm in the Baltic sea, and a studio in Sóller on Mallorca.
